A House with Many Doors
The Witches’ House of Healing Arts offers three interconnected pathways. Each one will take you on a journey of healing and growth.
Please step through the door which calls you most..
Healing the Burning Times
Free yourself from the burdens of inherited trauma and reclaim the blessings of your ancestral lineage.
The witch hunts were not only acts of violence against individuals, but over 250 years, created a wound in the psyche of our collective humanity that we still haven't recovered from. Their legacy lives on in us as fear of visibility, fractured sisterhood, mistrust of women’s power and a deep reluctance to lead.
This pathway creates a sacred space where these inherited wounds can be named, felt and transformed — together. Through trauma-aware practice, ancestral healing, shared witnessing and ritual, we repair what was torn apart and restore the conditions for women to lead from wisdom rather than fear.
A collective wound requires collective healing - you're invited to come join the circle.
The Witch's Path
Connect with the Archetypes of the Original Witch and Reclaim the Power and Magic Within.
The Original Witch holds the keys to our authentic power - our intuition, creativity, vision, and love. For centuries however, she has been demonised and belittled, and as a result we lose our sense of direction, confidence, and sovereignty. Our survival has become dependent on us ignoring our intuition, mistrusting our inner knowing, doubting ourselves and living in states of fear and it is now making us sick.
This pathway offers a grounded, embodied space designed to guide you into a deeper relationship with yourself - one rooted in self-trust, wisdom and a healthy connection with life itself. Through creative ritual, ceremony, and archetype work, we go within and remember who we really are.
You are magical by your very nature, and in our troubled world your magic is needed - you are invited to come walk the path home.Â

The Wisewoman Way
Embrace menopause as a sacred initiation and the portal to your most powerful life chapter yet.
In a culture that fears ageing and silences older women, menopause is treated as a problem to manage rather than a profound threshold of change. Yet beneath the symptoms and disruption lies a deep reorganisation of identity, authority, and purpose — one that asks to be met, not medicated away.
This pathway offers space to grieve what is ending, integrate what has been lived, and allow the vision for your menopause chapter to become clear. This is an intense time with no quick fixes, but authority and clarity emerge when the emotions and changes are embraced . Through reflection, ritual, and embodied wisdom, you are supported to take your place as a wisdom-holder, elder, and culture-bearer in a way that is real, grounded, and yours.
This is not the end of your story — it is the chapter you become the Wisewoman, Visionary, Leader, Elder you were always destined to become.

Regular Healing Circles
At the heart of the Witches’ House of Healing Arts is a series of regular circles — ongoing spaces of connection, inner healing, and care. These circles offer a place to be met as you are, to speak honestly, and to be held in a safe and non-judgemental space. A warm welcome awaits.
The Wellspring
An open therapeutic circle held twice per month on Sunday's at The Storey, Lancaster
The Wellspring offers a grounded, welcoming space to tend to emotional wellbeing, reconnect with yourself, and feel the benefits of sacred space. Each circle is gently facilitated, allowing space where you can be held, witnessed and supported as you do your inner healing work.
As a safe and non-judgemental space where all of you, your emotions and your struggles are welcome, it's a space to return to again and again to be nourished and resourced over time. For over two years, these circles have quietly grown into a powerful community of women engaged in their shadow work and creating magical lives through the healing arts. Many return month after month because it is one of the few spaces where they feel they can truly be themselves.

Threshold
A support circle for peri-menopausal women held on Saturday's once a month at The Storey, Lancaster
Threshold is a space for women navigating the intense emotional and identity shifts of the menopause transition. Here, we make room for the big feelings — confusion, grief, rage, exhaustion, loss of self — without diagnosis, fixing, or pressure. Think of it as a warm hug in circle form — a safe, sacred space for you to fall into and feel held by, to fall apart in, a space you can breathe, share, and simply be.
Through shared experience, attentive listening, and gentle guidance, this circle offers support, perspective, and the reassurance that you are not alone as you cross this profound life threshold.Â

The Witches' Wheel At Pendle
Seasonal ceremony days held at the Pendle Heritage Centre.
The Witches' Wheel of the Year ceremony days offer a space to come together in community to honour the turning of the seasons as our ancestors would have done. Rooted in ancestral tradition and attuned to the rhythms of the land, these gatherings invite us to slow down, mark time, and remember our place within the wider cycles of nature.
Through song, drumming, creative ritual, and shared ceremony, we create a living space of connection, joy, and reverence. These ceremonies are offer a place to be part of something larger, to reconnect with lineage and land, and to honour the Pendle Witches themselves in the heart of the place they lived.

Why This Work Matters Now
The witch hunts were not only a historical event — they were a cultural rupture whose effects are still felt in our bodies, relationships, and voices today. Fear of visibility, suppression of intuition, and mistrust of women’s power did not end with the trials; but was passed down through the generations through the trauma wounds of disconnection.
Lancaster and Pendle sit at the heart of this history as the homeland of the most well-known witch trial in England - The Pendle Witch Trials. These landscapes hold stories of persecution, resilience, and survival that continue to shape our collective psyche. To work here is to work in conversation with the past — not to reopen wounds, but to tend them with care, context, and compassion.
The aim of The Witches’ House of Healing Arts is to create spaces where this legacy can be met consciously. Through ancestral healing, ritual, and community practice, women are supported to reconnect with their lineages, reclaim suppressed knowledge, and step into roles of wisdom, stewardship, and cultural renewal.
This work is not about re-enacting history — it is about a positive reparation of our inheritance, so something wiser and more life-giving can take its place.
About the Founder
I’m Cali White, founder of The Witches’ House of Healing Arts. I’m a psychotherapist, group facilitator, and ritual guide, and my work is rooted in depth psychology, ancestral healing, and many years of holding circles, workshops, experiential exhibitions, and women's rites of passage programmes.
My focus is on women’s reclamation work and transitional thresholds — particularly the long shadow cast by the witch hunts and how that history still lives in our bodies, voices, and nervous systems today. I bring careful attention to safety, pacing, and embodied presence, creating spaces where complex emotional material can be met with integrity, steadiness, and care.
Based in Lancaster, in the heart of the Pendle Witch story, my work weaves together history, archetype work, creative ritual, and community practice — not as a return to the past, but as a necessary act of cultural repair. I see this work as supporting women to reclaim wisdom, voice, and belonging in ways that are grounded, authentic, and deeply interconnected.

Visit the House
The Witches’ House of Healing Arts is a living gathering space for women, rooted deeply in the homelands of the Pendle Witches.
Our Witch's Wheel at Pendle events take place at The Pendle Heritage Centre, Barrowford — the place the Pendle Witch story began, where the accused and accusers lived and called home.
Our other events are held in a private, dedicated space within The Storey, Lancaster — opposite the Castle in which the accused were imprisoned and tried before meeting their deaths on Lancaster's Gallows Hill.Â
Working between these two places feels sacred: it anchors our work in the full sweep of the history, from origin to legacy, and allows us to engage with the land, the lineage, and the stories in a way that honours both past and present. Together, these spaces hold our work — ancestral healing, ceremony, and circles — offering women a tangible connection to place, memory, and cultural continuity.
